To mark the end of the Bacterial Plant Diseases Programme I created a series of nine illustrated research summaries – one for each of the participating projects. Each summary gives some background to the project, an overview of the methods used, key findings and recommendations all in just 2 pages. These summaries can be downloaded below.
I worked with each of the project teams to summarise their work in an accessible way and to identify the most important outcomes from their research. I then collaborated with graphic designer Thomas Pawley to create a coherent look and feel across the series and develop bespoke illustrations.
The research summaries were also printed and each project received a bundle to distribute to partners and policymakers they are working with.
The summaries were very well received with comments like “You have done a great job. I am delighted with it!” from project leads.
